MK International African Market is a family store offering many different grocery products from West Africa. We take pride in selling the best products from West Africa and distributors in the United States. Our goal is to provide quality customer service and to make our customers feel at home as if they were back home in Africa.
I dreamed of opening an African restaurant because I love to cook for family and friends, but getting African ingredients and groceries was a hassle. So, I considered opening an African store because it would give me and others the convenience of getting ingredients for cooking and provide a convenient family-oriented place for fellow Africans to shop. After lots of hard work and support from family, the business was founded on January 8, 2024. I am forever grateful to God and my village of people surrounding us. We are not just a store, we’re family!!

A wife and mother of three handsome boys. They motivate and inspire me to be great at what I do. It is such a joy and blessing to be their mother. I founded MK International African Market because I wanted to give my children the best. With the help of my family, it became a success. You never know the value of anything until you work for it, therefore whenever life puts you down, find a reason to push forward and know that if I can do it, so can you!
